My name is Miranda, I’m 31 years old and had been diagnosed with Lupus at age 23. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that allows my body to attack itself and won’t ever go away. Most Doctors will prescribe liver damaging medication for the symptoms. Most of my life I’ve had raynauds syndrome, fatigue, and odd discomfort or even pain in my joints. It wasn’t until I got pregnant that my symptoms got worse. Everyone said “It’s your hormones; Your pregnant”. Well, I didn’t get any better after I had my son. I actually had been on antibiotics 9-10 different times by the time my son turned one. When I couldn’t get out of bed or even take care of my son as I’d hoped, I knew it wasn’t just hormones. I wasn’t sure at first how Dr. Gonino was going to make me feel any better than what my Medical Internist couldn’t do. Dr. Gonino tested my blood and discovered I had an allergy to Gluten. So, he changed my diet and gave me some detoxifying I.V. treatments that cleared all the build up waste in my system. Well, that worked! I don’t remember the last time I felt this good or even normal. It’s so great to be a normal tired. My symptoms are gone and I’m not on any medications other than my vitamins. I’m so excited to feel great! Actually, I got too excited…I started back to school and joined a gym while working full time and being a full-time mom. Now if Dr. Gonio could put more hours in the day, that would be great!

I wanted to say thank you to all of you, but in particular to Hope. I was there last week and was feeling so bad, I had to sit down and she was so caring. I am a 77 year old woman who is a patient of Dr. Gonino. About six years ago I began having severe dizzy spells with nausea. Physicians at several emergency rooms diagnosed me with “Vertigo”. After many tests and scans Dr. Gonino recommended IV Chelation. I began monthly treatments and immediately noticed that, not only did the dizzy spells stop, but I felt better in general. After several years of IV Chelation, I thought I was cured so I stopped the treatments on my own. However, after a few months the dizzy spells returned. So I again began IV Chelation and the dizzy spells stopped. I am totally convinced that IV Chelation is a miracle and I will never go without the treatments for as long as I live. I am a female, 40 years old and I only have one word for Dr. Gonino and his staff:  AMAZING. When I first met Dr. Gonino, I had been dealing, for almost two years, with serious issues: bloating and abdominal pain, diarrhea, fatigue, nausea and allergies. I had intestinal yeast overgrowth and I was getting depressed every day because I just could not get well no matter what I tried. During these two years, I went to three different doctors and none of them were able to control my yeast overgrowth. I was very disappointed and at the point where I didn’t have confidence in doctors anymore.  The day I met Dr. Gonino was the start to my quick recovery. He first put me on IV treatments to strengthen my immune system. Then, I had several IV treatments for yeast infection (candida). He also recommended hydro-colon therapy, coffee enemas, gallbladder cleanses, alka salts to adjust body PH, candida diet, and chelation therapy to get rid of body toxins. Many of these procedures were so very new to me and they truly worked wonders on me. Within a few weeks from the start of my treatment, my symptoms were improving so much and I started to feel wonderful. Even my allergies were so much better. I just could not believe it. It was a miracle; I was getting my health back. I had a blood microscopy six weeks after the start of the treatment and the candida was gone.

Dr. Gonino is an incredible doctor who showed me the right path to being healthy again. In only a few weeks, I’ve learned a tremendous amount about health and well-being. Even my family and friends benefit now from what I’ve learned from him. I feel blessed to have Dr. Gonino as my doctor and I thank God every day for sending me to him.

In 2008, I began to experience unusual symptoms that kept changing. After visiting several doctors, I was finally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis on October 4, 2009. My leg had been numb for three weeks, when I had an MRI. It showed lesions on my brain and lower lumbar. Before taking the injections that the neurologist recommended, my family and I decided to do research on my options. Finding Dr. Gonino and his amazing staff were an answer to prayers. Dr. Gonino was proactive and encouraging while getting a plan of action. Over a year later, I am glad to say that I have never taken any of the horrible drugs for MS and am living with virtually no symptoms. Dr. Gonino, I spoke with you 2 years ago on Healthy Wealthy Wise Show about my then 6 year old daughter, Sydney. She has asthma, SVT and eczema. Way back then you said “this is text book sugar-insulin-adrenaline roller coaster…get her off sugar.” When I presented this to her doctor here (in MD), they said “sugar has nothing to do with her problem” and “those guys on the radio are quacks who just want my money.” I presented this to several different doctors. No one listened. To make a long story short…29 July this year she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and is now on insulin 3 times a day! I’m without words. I’m Wes, and I have been a patient at the Gonino Wellness Center for 12 months. Recently, an injury to my neck became inflamed, and the pain was 9 out of 10 most all day every day. During a routine visit to the Center, Dr. Gonino discussed my pain with me, and was able to direct me to the proper regimen of chelation, cleansing, decompression, and chiropractic. Over the next 60-90 days, this regimen has completely removed the pain. While I was hurting, I had a hard time getting any relief. once I began treatment, and gave it a chance, the pain began to subside. I quickly gained confidence that following the regimen would help remove the pain. Dr. Gonino knew, but it took the first evidence of relief, and I was convinced. I completed the treatment and the pain is gone. I’m very grateful to the Gonino Center and Dr. Gonino for nudging and guiding me on the path to healing.

In 12-06, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. The doctors removed a malignant tumor the size of a baseball. The cancer had spread to my lymph nodes and liver. I was told there was no hope to live. It just dawned on me that after these years under your care, Ive never stopped long enough to tell you how thankful I am that God led us to you when we were looking a doctor in Rockwall area.

It was about 5 years ago that I began your program of chelation therapy to counteract the angina that I was experiencing. I never had any reactions to the IV whatsoever, so I wasn’t sure that it was doing any good.My wife and I usually take an evening stroll to walk the dog, and get some exercise ourselves. The walk back to the house was an elevation of 10 to 15 degrees, so it took some effort for me to make that grade. In fact, I usually,
if not always, had to stop and get my breath (wait for the angina to subside) before continuing on up the hill.

I had taken about four chelation therapies, and found myself walking clear up to the house without stopping! I was delighted and overwhelmed, but still somewhat skeptical. However, from then on, I never did have to stop again to catch my breath. Now, that I am on a maintenance program, my angina has disappeared, my blood pressure has stabilized, and general health is so much improved. Now, if I can just continue to hold my weight

Dr. Gonino and his staff have been a blessing and answer to my prayers. I found this website after weeks of searching the internet for anyone that could help me. At age 25, I went from working full time as a nurse and making several mission trips a year to becoming bedridden for a year. I had every medical test possible done and stopped counting at the 100th vial of blood that was drawn.

After nine months I finally received a diagnosis of Chiari Malformation and had brain surgery in 2000. The following years were spent SLOWLY recuperating, but suffering from many other problems. At times I was getting better minute by minute and going to doctors who would smile, pat my back and say, See you in a month. One doctor actually said cheerfully, well dear at least youre not dead. I was a number in their appointment book. I knew something else was wrong, but doctors blew me off as having anxiety and stress. These issues continued three and a half years after my move to Dallas. When I began searching for another doctor I found Dr. Gonino. I came to the office fearing that he would be like the other doctors. On my first visit he diagnosed me with candida and started a treatment plan. I have been coming here for almost three years now and am so thankful God led me to him. He always takes every concern seriously and looks at one as a total person, not just a symptom. I never have trouble reaching someone when I have had an emergency after hours. Dr. Gonino has given me hope when Ive been hopeless. In the future I plan to move back home, 1500 miles away, but will definitely travel back to see Dr. Gonino as needed. Dr. Gonino and his staff treat me as a person with a name and I am so blessed to have found them.

I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the benefits my son, Connor, has received since becoming a patient of the Gonino Wellness Group. Connors history involves chronic bronchitis, asthma, chronic ear infections, acid reflux, vomiting, and many more. He was under constant doctor care and a large list of medicines. At age two, Connor became a patient and weighed 23 lbs. With the Gonino Wellness Group, we discovered multiple food allergies that Connor suffered from and the fact that he suffered from Celiac disease which resulted in his failure to thrive. After putting Connor on the special diet, he began to increase his weight for the first time in over eight months. By the end of 2005, Connor had put on 5-7 lbs.Since following the Gonino Wellness program which included chiropractic services, Conners medicine list has decreased from a total of eight different medications given up to four times a day down to two maintenance medications. This past year, Connor has been seen for more routine check-ups then ever before. His acid reflux is under control and we have not experienced the uncontrolled vomiting he used to suffer from. In May 2004, I went walking and jogging on a neighborhood trail with my daughter. A few weeks later, I began to experience tremendous pain in both ankles. I had difficulty walking even a few steps. My regular M.D. ex-rayed both ankles, prescribed an inflammatory drug and reassured me that I did not have arthritis. After two rounds of the drug, the ankle pain returned. I sought out a doctor of sports medicine, his diagnosis for my pain was tendonitis and he prescribed the same anti-inflammatory as well as wearing an orthopedic boot for three months. The pain diminished so the anit-inflammatory was discontinued and I kicked the boot aside. Nearly a year had passed and I refused to wear that boot for the summer! The summer was punctuated with more periods of pain so I decided to phone Gonino Wellness. Id heard great things about that medical group. I prayed that Gonino Wellness had the solution to my cycles of ankle pain, and would tell me why my ankles still hurt 15 months after one jogging episode. During my first consultation with Dr. Gonino, he quickly diagnosed my problem and identified as candida. I was surprised that he diagnosed it within four minutes of meeting me for the first time. He recommended immediate options to make me from painful to pain free. His recommendations were long to follow and I have learned of more natural and healthier ways to care for my body. Every single visit to Gonino Wellness leaves me feeling better each time I leave. My last visit to treat pain enabled me to feel like I could easily run in less than 24 hours! I suffered for over a decade with chronic fatigue. I was an active guy and I exercised regularly with a fairly good diet but I was unable to combat the fatigue that continued to plague me. My past medical experiences include my tenure in working for a surgeon in a clinic as a registered nurse in Tallahassee, Florida. There, I saw the wonderful benefits of IV therapy. I was so excited to find that my very painful foot neuropathy could be treated by chelation therapy. On a trip to England my husband and I saw how this special therapy helped cure many serious conditions. So here I was in Rowlett, Texas at the Wellness Clinic of Dr. Gonino.I enjoyed the experience in Dr. Goninos office. The large staff was easy going, pleasant and professional. As I left the building on my second visit I became aware of a somewhere else feeling that left me very peaceful and even happy. It had nothing to do with the medical help I was receiving. The medical help was all I had wanted.

However, with each visit the comforting something else feeling grew and lovingly assisted me. On one occasion I entered the building burdened with guilt from a bad decision I made that put family in severe financial stress. I could hardly breathe, upon leaving that day I was totally comfortable and could breathe easily. I am so grateful for this extra gift of peace.

In 1998. I saw Dr. Gonino for the first time. I was having very short periods with heavy bleeding and bad cramps. He put me on bio- identical trans-dermal progesterone and after that; my periods were regular, light and tolerable.After many years, I got off the progesterone (for reasons I still cant remember) and eventually started having
horrific periods even though I was not sexually active.

I had been having my regular annuals and was fine. I also had an abdominal scan, which indicated that there was nothing out of order. Due to the dangers of birth control, my age, and my husbands vasectomy, I got off birth control in December. My periods started to get worse and when I went in for my annual just three months later and a sonogram confirmed that I had an enlarged uterus, fibroids, and a cyst on my ovary. The gynecologist wanted to do a second sonogram in six weeks and indicated that if they got worse I would have to get a hysterectomy!

I immediately went to Dr. Gonino and asked for oral bio-identical progesterone. I started taking the hormone right away and returned for my six week sonogram. After scratching their heads for a moment, the technician and the doctor indicated that I did not have any cysts or fibroids, and that they didnt know what happened. They just went away. They told me to come back in one year. I didnt bother to tell them about the progesterone. However, I think I will go somewhere else next year.

 Ive been visiting doctors and hospitals for more than four years now. They did all kinds of tests to determine the cause of the weakness I suffered from in my hands and the loss of muscle in them, from them they decided that it was ALS.I felt that I had no hope, especially when day after day I was felt like I was getting weaker and weaker. I needed help doing simple things like combing my hair, washing my hair, putting my clothes on, carrying a cup, reaching to grab something I want to buy, putting toast in a toaster, etc. I finally required help to feed myself. I was not able to do anything and at night I was feeling more cramps in my legs and hands.

A friend saw me and he told my brother about alternative medicine. He even made the first appointment for me.

Now after the treatments and diet I am using, I have more hope. I feel stronger. I walk for long periods of time now. I can write easier. I can do all the stuff I mentioned earlier a lot easier, and I rarely feel cramps, the shaking of my hands are less. I feel I am recovering. I am with the right people and the right treatment now.

In 2005 I was taking 6 to 7 medication all for hypertension! I was really interested in finding out ways to lower my blood pressure and also down my medication if possible, the first time I saw Dr. Gonino he then threw several medications in the waste basket and put me on two new medications. The blood pressure went down some. I began to loss weight and to exercise. We are now on three medications for high blood pressure and reading at home recently was 125/60. Of course, the white coat thing usually puts me higher in the office. Dr. Gonino has a spiritual quality in his office which comes across in his gentle approach and I think this helps him with his patients treatments. The atmosphere in this office is unlike any I know and I just find it healing and comforting each visit.

I saw Dr. Gonino for the first time yesterday and cannot tell you how relieved I am. He didn’t overwhelm me with information or directions (such as, change your lifestyle immediately and thoroughly!); he did ask unnecessary questions he was very focused, extremely kind, and very encouraging. He had such and air of competence and confidence, without and ego or arrogance. All his staff were friendly and helpful.I feel like I am going to get real help for the first time in a long time. I appreciate all Doug Kaufmann and his team does in this field, and please let him know how grateful I am to find out about Dr. Gonino. Isnt it sad and pathetic that we live in such a sophisticated, educated metroplex area, and yet it is nearly impossible to find doctors or other medical professionals who support alternative, holistic, integrative approaches to treating illnesses.

I had already experienced that in the pediatrician world I could only find one pediatrician who would take my girls, because I won’t get them vaccinated (my older daughter had a strange welting and coarse hair growth on her leg after receiving a round of vaccinations). Almost all pediatricians wont take patients who avoid vaccines or try to vaccinate on a spaced out schedule (which was my original approach, ultimately confirmed by my daughters experience). They pretend its a trust issue, but the truth is, the drug industry puts this pressure on them. I would love for another Doug Kaufmann to rise up on behalf of the anti-immunization parents!

The Gonino Wellness Group is unique. They use ways of treating patients that I have not seen elsewhere. I love that Dr. Gonino customized a health care plan for me. It has been amazingly effective.
